U.S. EPA awards Santa Cruz City Schools 5,000 for cleaner school buses

SAN FRANCISCO – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awarded $155,000 to Santa Cruz City Schools to replace or retrofit nine older diesel school buses. Funded through EPA’s Diesel Emissions Reduction Act, the new and updated buses will emit less air pollution.
