Company to pay $600K for alleged violations associated with spills and inadequate prevention and response plans at rail yard facilities (Denver, Colo. – February 25, 2016) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Justice have reached an agreement with the BNSF Railway Company (BNSF), resolving alleged violations of the Clean Water Act and the Oil Pollution Act at several locations in the states of Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming
