Petition received requesting revision of Maine's Chemicals of Concern List

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has received petitions requesting revision of Maine's chemicals of concern list for three listed chemicals: decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (D5), dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane (D6), and octamethyltrisiloxane (L3) (all documentation provided by petitioner is included below). In accordance with 38 M.R.S. ยง 1693(3), the DEP is providing the opportunity for public review and comment on evidence submitted by the petitioner. Comments should be submitted before 5:00 p.m. June 23, 2017 to be considered. For more information or questions, contact Kerri Malinowski at 207-215-1894.
