Delaware State Parks closures ahead of expected severe weather, Hurricane Joaquin arrival include campgrounds at Cape Henlopen, Delaware Seashore and Trap Pond
DOVER (Oct. 1, 2015) – DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation has begun notifying campers at Cape Henlopen State Park, Delaware Seashore State Park (Indian River Inlet) and Trap Pond State Park near Laurel that campgrounds in the three parks will close at 8 a.m. Friday because of severe weather expected ahead of the possible arrival of Hurricane Joaquin.
