Content in the Remediation Section of the DEEP website has been updated:
A new web page has been developed to provide Guidance for Green Remediation in Connecticut. Although not required by state law, the US EPA and CT DEEP encourage the use of green and sustainable remediation practices in conducting site investigation and cleanup. The use of green remediation practices is optional and can produce economic benefits and better environmental outcomes.
A case study in Green Remediation will be presented at the upcoming Remediation Roundtable on December 8, 2015. www.ct.gov/deep/remediationroundtable
