Request for Proposals – Planning for River Access Resiliency in the Hudson River Watershed
$50,000 is now available to develop a regional design and planning guide to help site managers and communities assess risk and plan for flooding and sea-level rise at riverfront parks and fishing, swimming, and boating access sites along the Hudson River estuary and its tidal tributaries. The resulting project will incorporate best environmental practices and universal design principles and will include the use of natural and nature-based approaches where suitable.
Funding to support this work is provided by the state’s Environmental Protection Fund and
is administered by DEC’s Hudson River Estuary Program, in partnership with the New England
Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) through a Request for Proposals
(RFP).
The deadline for proposals is February 15, 2019 at 12 p.m. The RFP and application are
