EPA to Hold Next NEJAC Public Meeting on January 5, 2022

The Environmental Protection Agency will be holding the next public meeting of the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) on January 5, 2022 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (ET). The meeting discussion will focus on the business of environmental justice and civil rights compliance elements in EPA’s next multiyear strategic plan draft, as well as other aligned efforts and plans of the agency.

This free meeting is open to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to provide comments relevant to the specific issues being considered by the NEJAC. The meeting agenda and other meeting support materials will be posted in the public docket (Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OA-2021-0848) as they become available.

Individual registration is Required.

Please make sure you have the latest version of zoom.

A public comment period relevant to the specific issues will be considered by the NEJAC during the public meeting. Registration to speak during the public comment period will close at 11:59 p.m., (EDT), on December 29, 2021.

Submitting written comments for the record are strongly encouraged. You can submit your written comments in three different ways:

  1. Submitting comments in the Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OA-2021-0848
  2. Using the webform
  3. Sending comments via email for comments with additional materials.
  4. Written comments can be submitted up until two weeks after the public meeting. Visit EPA’s website for more information about public comment.
